HDF SAS organizes with great success a Dell webinar for its North African and Moroccan partners.
May 7, 2020

HDF SAS organized its first major webinar on May 6, 2020 and was delighted to have more than 300 persons registered and at least 170 attendees logged in for the event.

In order to keep contact with its partners during the COVID-19 crisis and maintain the business networks connected, HDF SAS organized with Dell a webinar for its partners.

The webinar was labeled as a "DP DP4400 Hands-on Webinar" for Dell Partners in Northwest Africa and Morocco. Dell team provided a live demonstration of the powerful protection offered by the IPA with sections on backup and restore tasks, an overview of the management console, quick search and much more.

The main speaker representing Dell was Nawfal Saoud, Regional Sales Director, EA region at Dell Technologies, Data Protection Solutions. He was joined by Badr Mazini, Sales Specialist, Data Protection Solutions, North and West Africa. Other Dell team members that were introduced: Mustapha El Aboudi, Internal Systems Engineer, Data Protection Solutions Division, and Oumaima Tawfiq, Channel Distribution Marketing, EA Region.

"A big Thank You goes to our distributor HDF for giving us the opportunity to share with our valued partners all the benefits of our IDPA solution and the unmatched performance it offers," said Badr Mazini from Dell, on LinkedIn.

Johny Rahme from HDF acknowledged that the quality of Dell products line contributed to the success of the webinar. “Many partners from Morocco and NWA joined the webinar to understand how the simple, efficient and powerful DP4400 can protect customer data with the best performance in a converged 2U application that offers backup, deduplication, replication, recovery and cloud availability.” added Johny.

How did HDF team manage to make the webinar such a success in these tough times for companies, since the lockdown is making many aspects of doing business very difficult?

“We worked with Dell, decided on a topic and announced it on LinkedIn, through mailings and calls. It was a real success, so much that Dell team then congratulated us through their posts on LinkedIn,” said Johny Rahme.

HDF is now planning a series of other webinars on different topics, working to reach end-users of specific large partners and will be launching very soon a large digital campaign.
